played it coop which probably made it a bit more fun. the difficulty at first was really terrible because normal was too easy hard was too hard but then we realized Tarot cards make the game super easy so there's that. basically bunny hopping non stop is pretty fun / ryhtmic and feels good, the weapons generally feel alright it not a little goofy, its not by the same devs as original Painkiller and its really just a remake of the 1st game with HALF the levels, so that's kind of lame. it was pretty short, like 4 hours and the boss battles were honestly pretty shit, especially the last one. glad I played it though
