Shadow Warrior

2013 remake....the original game, you actually used the huge arsenal of weapons cause they all felt AWESOME and badass...this game? well its an FPS game where all the weapons basically suck and feel like shit to use, so you have to use a sword 95% of the time and it gets old after level 2. yeah, thats right. they want you to use a badass sword to cut up your enemies and gib them all day long but you get sick of it after level 2.

the upgrade system feels shoehorned in. like all you do is get the healing stuff ASAP then you can heal anytime anywhere and it just gets tedious. yeah this game is REALLY tedious.

COMPLETE bullet sponge enemies. like instead of having good enemy placement and thought of designs, you get wave based combat where they just throw x amount of enemies and you in an arena and give a score when you beat them, unlocking the next glowing door to progress. its just not fun, plain and simple..

Its especially not fun when they throw in shamans that can respawn enemies, enemies with giant shields you have to circle strafe around to kill that takes forever, and enemies with only one way to defeat them (big glowing ball on their back) that ACTUALLY take around 10 minutes of constant attacks to kill. story was really lame and the forced in sidekick really felt nothing more than some developer geek trying his hand at roleplaying over a microphone...utterly cringeworthy shit and the humor falls flat 95% of times..


look atleast the graphics are ok and the sword is satisfying a bit to use slashing off limbs and shit but god it cannot redeem the faults....really though... One word: bullets sponge
