Spec Ops: The Line

don't know why everyone praises this as being so profound and deep and intellectual, story is one thing, but it didn't even compel me or draw me in. just felt like dudebro hashed in cheap drama and 2deep4u political opinions about "WAR IS BAD OK". that shit aside, the gameplay is completely cookie cutter with really terrible controls and a barely implemented cover system. levels are mostly forgettable, as is everything else about this game. atleast its short. the gunplay feels at least half decent, and getting headshots is satisfying. but it can be really frustrating dying over and over with such generic health regen cover mechanics / pinpoint accurate AI.

6/10
